Love rainforest? Love helping people?
We are looking for volunteers to help us gather donations for our Christmas fundraiser! We need great items to sell in a live and silent auction. All proceeds go directly to our clean water and rainforest initiatives in the Congo River Basin.
It's actually quite easy. Usually, all you have to do is ask. Businesses love to give products and services to great causes! Thet get exposure while helping!
You can email and/or call businesses directly. Many businesses have online application processes you can use. A great start us to contact environmentally friendly businesses and hotels, for example. They love the exposure to their business and being able to contribute in a very meaningful way to rainforest conservation!
We will provide you with the "ask" letter and nonprofit information you need to ask for donations.

Go Conscious Earth protects African rainforests and the animals that live there by partnering with indigenous communities to eliminate extreme poverty and cultivate sustainable practices.
Description
GCE has conserved one million acres of rainforest so far. Our unique approach not only raises the quality of the lives of the indigenous people living here but also leads to more rainforest conservation initiatives in the DRC. Working within the communities on Lac Tumba to protect tribal lands rights helps alleviate poverty and is an extremely effective way to save rainforest. Even as we begin our community initiatives in the currently conserved rainforest for the Bantomba tribe, we are beginning the process of conserving the adjacent one million acres, and we will work with the communities there to create and implement projects that they decide are necessary for their health, survival, and well-being.
