American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery volunteersto help people through their experience by offering a measure of comfort and an opportunity for emotional grounding and informed decision making. Reach To Recovery volunteers give patients and their families the opportunity to ask questions, talk about their fears and concerns, and express their feelings.
