About

The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteer drivers to take patients to their cancer treatments in and around Spokane WA. Volunteers are utilized when patients do not have any other route to get to their appointments. This is a very important service because many times treatment is delayed when patients can not find rides to their appointments. This is a very flexible position and is a great way to serve your community and help people affected by cancer! For more information or to apply please contact Jerri Wood, 425-404-2199 . We have free lodging available in Cheney that patients decline using because they then don't have transport into Spokane. Drive when you are available.
