Front of House Volunteers Needed for American Stage's production of GOOD PEOPLE

American Stage Theatre, Tampa Bay's longest-running professional theatre company, is seeking front-of-house volunteers for its upcoming production of GOOD PEOPLE. GOOD PEOPLE will open at American Stage on Friday, September 7th and run through Sunday, October 2nd. Performances are held Wednesdays through Sundays. They begin at 7pm on Wednesdays, 8pm Thursday through Saturday, and 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. There are two primary front-of-house volunteer roles, Ushering and Concessions. Ushers help during our performances by taking tickets, providing programs, and assisting patrons to their seats. They are the largest representative group for American Stage and should expect to provide excellent customer service to every patron who comes through our doors. Time commitment varies depending on the length of the performance, and can be anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3. Ushers have the unique privilege to see the performance they are helping with. Concessions volunteers also help during performances by operating our concessions stand, which includes handling cash and alcohol. Previous experience in customer service, cash sales, hospitality, and food/beverage is strongly preferred but we are willing to train. Time commitment varies depending on the length of the performance, and can be anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3.
