Position
Development Director reports to and is in partnership with the Executive Director (ED) to spearhead development efforts for Mark-G, Incorporated as the nonprofit continues to grow. This is a new position in the organization, which the Executive Director will have the opportunity to build the development functions.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute Mark-G, Incorporated's annual fundraising plan
Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations
Manage the implementation of fundraising software and oversee staff responsible for data entry and gift processing
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors
Create and execute strategy for a large sustained base of annual individual donors
Oversees organization’s special events
Develop and track proposals and reports for foundation and corporate fundraising
BA, MA (a plus)
5 years experience
Demonstrates excellence in organizational, managerial, and communication skills
- Knowledge of fundraising software
