Position

Development Director reports to and is in partnership with the Executive Director (ED) to spearhead development efforts for Mark-G, Incorporated as the nonprofit continues to grow. This is a new position in the organization, which the Executive Director will have the opportunity to build the development functions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Mark-G, Incorporated's annual fundraising plan

  • Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations

  • Manage the implementation of fundraising software and oversee staff responsible for data entry and gift processing

  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors

  • Create and execute strategy for a large sustained base of annual individual donors

  • Oversees organization’s special events

  • Develop and track proposals and reports for foundation and corporate fundraising

Qualifications
  • BA, MA (a plus)

  • 5 years experience

  • Demonstrates excellence in organizational, managerial, and communication skills

  • Knowledge of fundraising software
