Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center
Faith Equestrian is a Therapeutic Riding Barn that works with individuals with disabilities. We are looking for volunteers, especially those available during the weekday to participate in our school programs starting the week of September 13th. Volunteers walk beside riders during lessons to offer them physical support and assistance during lessons. If you like kids and would like to learn more about horses, we would love to have you!

Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center's (FETC) mission is to offer equine-assisted therapeutic and educational activities (EAAT) to help improve physical, behavioral, cognitive and emotional functioning in individuals with disabilities in a family-friendly recreational and educational environment. FETC offers its program to people with disabilities regardless of race, creed or financial need.
We are a member of PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) Intl.
We provide riding lessons and other assisted activities for the physically and mentally challenged.
We are very volunteer intensive. We are always looking for volunteers in the followning areas:
horse leaders, side walkers, stall/barn cleaning, office cleaning, kitchen volunteers, event volunteers, media/editing volunteers, grounds/maintenance, groups looking to do a project.
Our program runs in 7-10 week sessions Tuesday-Saturday. with several weeks in between sessions due to heat, holidays, etc.
