Macomb Community Action Meals on Wheels program delivers hot, nutritious lunchtime meals to home-bound senior citizens in Macomb County. We are in desperate need of regular route and substitute drivers to deliver meals. Regular route volunteer drivers are asked to deliver meals as much or as little as you can. Substitute drivers are "on-call" when needed. It takes about 60 minutes to deliver the meals. Meal routes are driven Monday through Friday during lunchtime and you can select which day is best for you.
Meals are also delivered on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Special emergency food pack delivery projects take place on Saturdays multiple times during the year.
Mileage reimbursement is offered.

We are widely known for its most popular program: Meals on Wheels. We have a variety of different opportunities for volunteers that include:

- Emergency Box Delivery
