Punkin Chunkin 2016

PUNKIN CHUNKIN COLORADO - October 8 & 9, 2016

Punkin Chunkin Colorado, presented by the city of Aurora is a two-day event where people travel for miles to see how far they can lob a gourd. This zany activity engages the energy and ingenuity of youth and adults, while inspiring a fresh twist of creativity. In addition to the competition, the event offers an exciting fall festival complete with family activities, pumpkin patch, fall market, food vendors and a beer garden.

Volunteers are needed for every activity at the event including the pumpkin patch, games, entertainment, crafts and more.

Volunteers will be requested to work in shifts. Volunteer shifts are available on Saturday, October 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday, October 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 12:00 noon to 3:30 p.m. All volunteers will receive a meal and a volunteer T-shirt.
