Hello - are non-profit organization is looking for a volunteer to serve on our board as an active participant to our organizations activities. We are looking for a volunteer that would be interested in joining us at fundraising events and helping us keep organized with our charter. Our mission is to work with veterans and their families in obtaining trained service dogs for those suffering from the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). We work with families to help organize fundraising events in order to raise the funds necessary to accomplish this goal. Athenas Canine Companions if a non-profit grass roots all volunteerMinnesota organization that assists families through local fundraisers to obtain trained service dogs for combat related Post Tramatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) diagnosed patients. We work directly with veteran families to reach their personal goal of obtaining a trained service dog to assist them with their support and provide these families with a hands on experience. We organize and promote community fundraisers throughout the year and host one large annual event.
