Every 13 seconds an older adult is seen in an emergency room because of a fall. Many falls can result in broken bones. Join American Bone Health and YMCA on Saturday, September 24th to prevent falls and stay strong!
Volunteer duties: Registration/data input or balance assessments.
Training will be provided. Medical background is NOT required, but a great bonus!

The mission of American Bone Health is to mobilize communities with timely bone health information that supports strong and healthy bones and prevents osteoporosis and fractures. American Bone Health builds capacity for local community outreach through programs and public awareness campaigns. We engage public advocates for osteoporosis prevention, detection and treatment.
Description
As a non-profit resource center, we are dedicated to preventing osteoporosis through research and education of the public and medical community to increase awareness of risk, prevention and treatment. Our education programs include lectures which you may discover in the website.
