General Volunteers - Cal Expo Clinic (Sacramento)

Since 2011, California Careforce has provided free medical, dental and vision care through the delivery of mobile clinics throughout the state. At each clinic, around 500 medical volunteers and over 300 general volunteers serve over 1,500 patients and provide vital services to those in need.

On the 22nd September 2017, we will be holding a three day clinic at Cal Expo serving the greater Sacramento area. Patients with inadequate access to healthcare will be able to receive medical, dental and vision services at no cost and with no questions asked. We are in need of community minded individuals who want to help with a variety of non-medical tasks at the clinic. These individuals do not require medical training and will be involved with everything from set up and tear down to patient registration and check out.

We are looking for help with:

• Set up (September 20th-21st)
• Patient Registration (September 22nd-24th)
• Volunteer Registration (September 22nd-24th)
• General Logistics (September 22nd-24th)
• Site Maintenance (September 22nd-24th)
• Tear Down (September 25th)
