Hawaiian Falls Adventure Park - 18500 TX-130 Service Rd. - Pflugerville, TX

• Loading Truck at ADA Office/Storage Unit from 11:00 AM to 5 PM, 15 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Helping gather materials from ADA office and storage unit to load/unload truck at Camp Mabry. Setting up tables, chairs, booths and registration activities after deliveries have arrived. Event Set Up as much as possible.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 8, 2014

Hawaiian Falls Adventure Park - 18500 TX-130 Service Rd. - Pflugerville, TX

• Rovers: Will help wherever we need help 8 AM to Noon

· Event Area Set-Up from 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM, 15 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Setting up Tents and Booth Areas.

· Registration/Volunteer Table from 7.30 AM - 9:00 AM, 20 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Collecting money, handing out $150 and up fundraiser tee-shirts. Walk Waiver/Gate Keepers. Human Arrows.

• Parking Controller from 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM, 15 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Directing the flow of traffic into parking area.

· Food and Beverage Area from 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM, 15 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Setting up and assisting vendors with food and beverage items for attendees. Refreshing food and beverage items as needed. Packaging food item left-overs for charity organization.

· Kids Zone from 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM, 8 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Ensuring the safety and enjoyment of kids within the Children’s Area, helping with pumpkin painting and face painting

· Mission Tent 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM, 8 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Distributing literature, helping patron’s complete RISK test, assist Advocacy Liaison with duties, taking messages for ADA staff, SHARE, ACT, GIVE, LEARN tents and "Who are you walking for" stickers and banner.

• Rest Stop from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM, 4 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Support water station by distributing water.

• Gate Volunteers - 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM - 15 volunteers needed

Make sure walkers sign waiver and get sticker

• Red Strider Tent from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM, 10 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Hand out red strider hats, help facilitate Red Strider Café.

• Site Detail from 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM, 5 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Make sure trash pins stay emptied, pick up trash from ground, and ensure site stays clean.

• Volunteer/Vendor/Screener Check-In 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM, 4 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Check off and get correct info from vendor and volunteers, screener to send thank you notes and show them to their table.

• Event Area Clean-Up from 11:00 - 1:00 PM, 20 volunteers needed

Responsibilities include: Cleaning up Grounds, Assisting at storage and office with unloading the truck.
