VITAS Healthcare is looking for Patient Care Volunteers to visit patients residing in their own homes and long- term care facilities in the St. Charles County. During visits, volunteers read to patients, write letters for them, play music, games, share conversation and companionship. Comprehensive training, orientation and ongoing support for hospice volunteering is provided. Flexible times are available for volunteering according to your schedule and any time spent visiting patients is greatly appreciated.
