A 68 year old single woman is looking for a female volunteer to help her. The physical effects of her ALS prevent her from being able to clean her house or do her laundry. She is hoping someone can help her every other week for 2.5 hours with these chores.

What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
