Please help us compile resources for refugees and newcomers in your community. We are looking for individuals to contribute names of organizations and details of the services they offer.
The end goal is to have any easy place for newcomers to find the services and programs they need in their new communities.
We try to find resources in the following categories: -Community: Ethnic (refugee) organizations; Civic Participation; and Local attractions-Employment: Career readiness programs for low-income, refugee, immigrant, and under-employed individuals
-Services and Resources: Human services/social services; Resettlement and legal help; Housing and transportation
-Education and ESL: English as a Second Language programs; Citizenship prep and help; K-12 schools; Higher education with a focus on community colleges
-Ethnic Food: Ethnic groceries/markets; Ethnic restaurants; and Farmer’s Markets As you research organizations, programs, etc., you can add them directly to our community resource database using this google form: http://goo.gl/forms/nqTkuAnzZh
