We need a variety of volunteers at our Connections for Hope and Herndon Neighborhood Resource Centers, including:
-Employment Readiness Mentors and volunteers for clinics and workshops
-Tutors for GED, ESL, Math, Chemistry, Biology and Computers
-Afterschool program volunteers to help with a variety of tasks
-Case management volunteers to help clients with online applications for public benefit
-Flyer distributers/food donation request volunteers
-Bilingual front desk volunteers (Spanish)

Description
Cornerstones helps individuals and families survive tough economic times in an already high cost-of-living community. Through advocacy and support services, we connect our clients to the vital resources they need to build more self-sufficient lives. Our success comes from a comprehensive array of programs, wrap-around services that solve urgent or on-going requirements for housing, childcare, food or financial assistance all with the goal to sustain healthy families, secure housing, and financial independence.
