Use your professional skills to help poor and uninsured residents of Waukesha County obtain medical services. The nurse volunteer assists doctors during clinics on Monday and Thursday evenings between 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm and Wednesday mornings between 8:30 am - 11:00 am. Clinic responsibilities include taking patient health histories and vital signs. Opportunities also include working with a staff nurse during daytime office hours. Training includes an orientation session, shadowing, and ongoing support by staff nurses.
Active and retired RNs, LPNs, APRNs and NPs encouraged to apply!
