Driving aging adults to and from medical appointments is more than just a ride. It means someone can get to the eye doctor safely, someone gets their cancer treatment, someone gets their blood sugar checked, or someone is able to pick up their prescriptions. It gives clients the peace of mind they need to concentrate on where they are going instead of how they are going to get there.
Transportation services are may also be to various non-medical appointments including to pick up prescriptions, go to the bank, shopping, or just a ride around the town.
This service is vital to the overall health of older adults and supports their independence and well-being.
* Drivers must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license and automobile insurance that meets the minimum requirements by the State of Minnesota.
