As an Office Administrative Volunteer you will provide specific administrative duties and projects to aid in the organization and communication of the office and its staff.

Hours vary depending on the volunteer’s schedule. Most Office Administrative Volunteers spend 2-4 hours per week in the office under our Office Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, and Director of Patient Clinical Care.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the administration practices needed to run a successful healthcare system by participating in procedures and protocol first-hand.

As a Special Events Volunteer, you will provide service in small organized presentations in the local community that Medi Home Hospice serves. You will provide assistance in several different types of special events: hospice presentations, games and entertainment, exercise and nutrition presentations, senior health fairs, wellness checks, and other community health presentations in local senior communities.

Hours vary depending on the Volunteer Coordinator and Marketing staff’s schedule. Most weeks there are 2-3 scheduled special events between the hours of 10-3 on Monday through Thursday.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about organizing community service events and carrying out community health education.
