Volunteer at Family House Polo on Sunday, September 11th a 33-year tradition! We need people to help in the children's tent, helping people to bid on auctions items, directing parking, and much more!!! Please express interest to Julia Homa at jhoma@familyhouse.org if you are interested in helping. Volunteer shifts are about 4 hours long and you are welcome to enjoy the day before or after your shift. We provide lunch for all of participating volunteers and overall it is a great way to help a wonderful organization and have a little fun!
Family House provides affordable housing for patients and families traveling to Pittsburgh for medical care. We appreciate your support and thank you to everyone in advance for your help in making our Annual Polo Match a success!!!

Mission Statement
Family House provides a special "home away from home" for adult patients and/or their families who must travel to Pittsburgh for treatment of serious or life-threatening illnesses.
Description
By offering convenient, affordable housing in a home-like environment, through a network of support, comfort and compassion, Family House reduces emotional and financial stress for people facing a desperate medical crisis in a city where they are strangers.
Family House currently has three houses operating: University Place at 116 Thackeray Street, Neville at 514 N Neville Street, and Shadyside at 5245 Centre Avenue.
