LUNGevity Foundation is seeking outgoing, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to assist in promoting Breathe Deep DFW Walk & Fun Run to End Lung Cancer.

We are looking for volunteers to help us spread the word by placing fliers and save the date cards around town at businesses, schools, and neighborhoods surrounding River Legacy Park. Volunteers are needed now through event day on November 12.

To sign up as a volunteer, please reply to this post or contact Heather Domabyl at hdomabyl@LUNGevity.org.

About LUNGevity Foundation: LUNGevity Foundation is firmly committed to making an immediate impact on increasing quality of life and survivorship of people with lung cancer by accelerating research into early detection and more effective treatments, as well as providing community support and education for all those affected by the disease. Our vision is a world where no one dies of lung cancer.

About This Event: Founded in 2008 by Katie Brown, who lost her father to lung cancer, this walk is the first in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to raise awareness of lung cancer and funding for lung cancer research. Taking the lead this year is Haley Cox, our Breathe Deep Baton Rouge coordinator, who has recently moved to Dallas. Held at the Large Pavillion at River Legacy Park, the course is stroller, wheelchair, bicycle, and pet friendly (please clean up after pets).
