We're hosting the Massive Fall Barn Market on Saturday, October 8 and the Historical Society needs volunteers to help the event go smoothly. It's a fun day with lots of unique, local antique and crafts dealers as well as local wineries and restaurants. Come spend the day with us!

We need assistance with:
-Admissions
-Museum gift shop and info booth
-General needs (set-up/take-down/etc)

Mission Statement

The mission of the Chadds Ford Historical Society is to preserve the properties, records and artifacts, to interpret the history and to educate the public concerning the way of life in the Chadds Ford area with emphasis on the eighteenth century. The vision of the Chadds Ford Historical Society is to be the finest community historical society, preserving the history and interpreting the life and times of the Chadds Ford area. The Society aspires to be known for providing excellent educational opportunities to visitors, schools and residents, as well as being an active supporter of and a focal point for community activities.

Description

The Chadds Ford Historical Society (CFHS) is a private, non-profit, community-based, volunteer organization that has restored and maintains three pre-Revolutionary buildings which are open to the public as House Museums.
