Are you a kind hearted soul looking for Volunteer Opportunities? Abode Hospice is looking for amazing volunteers to join us and make a difference in the lives of our patients with life limiting illnesses. Meet special people, they have led full, eventful lives and would love to have someone to share their stories with. Help bridge the gap between family and caregivers, enrich your own life by sharing in the life stories of others. They are so very grateful to have a volunteer come out, even an hour a week means the world to them.
If you choose to be a Volunteer for Abode Hospice, you are not put on a set schedule. Exactly how much time you spend is typically up to you and your patient. You can do many activities together including: conversation, taking small walks, reading, singing, playing or listening to music, memory recording, and many more.
We also have volunteer opportunities in our office.
