Voices Against Brain Cancer will host our Inaugural Join the Voices! Connecticut Fat Bike ride on Saturday, November 12th 2016 at Winding Trails Park in Farmington Connecticut.
Registration for this charitable event will begin at 8:30AM and then at 10AM we will begin our trail ride in the park. There will be activities for kids, prizes and family fun for all. Funds raised will go towards the advancement of brain cancer research, as a testament of hope for the people in the world who are diagnosed with brain tumors. Local patients, doctors and caregivers will be honored for their valiant fights against brain cancer.
We need volunteers to help us make sure it’s a great day for our participants and honorees. ALL VOLUNTEERS WILL GET A FREE TECH MATERIAL T-SHIRT!
Volunteers will help with:
- General event operations
- Event day registration
- Food and beverage distribution (Simple coffee, bagels, bananas and water)
- Course Marshalling (giving riders directions)
- T-Shirt distribution
- Award Medal distribution
- help with kids activities
- help with "Fight Wall" signiture gathering.

We also provide support through our programs including Brains for the Cure, survivor luncheons and other community engagements. All of these events and programs allow us to raise funds, awareness and hope for the brain tumor community. Head for the Cure is a registered 501(c)3 organization.
