We are looking for people to take on special projects typically involving poverty research, event planning, communications and database update. Most of the work can be done from home with monthly or weekly meetings with other committee members. Example projects include publishing newsletter and facebook communications about local food drives and volunteer needs; updating a regional database of ways to find social services help, finding speakers for and promoting monthly discussions about local poverty, assembling and analyzing published information about local poverty, maintaining our wordpress website, planning and implementing our major fundraising event of the year.
