Help sort, fold, and hang clothes and accessories; do seasonal cleaning; help clients find outfits for interviews, jobs, or school in one of our clothing closets.
Oftentimes clients come to CASS with just the clothes on their back. The client clothing closet is imperative to give individuals a change of clothes and basic undergarments. Individuals are able to "shop" in the closet during their stay. Clothing is generously donated from the community and volunteers will sort and stock the inventory.
Shifts for this are: Monday - Friday 9:00am-4:30pm Saturdays: TBD

Description
Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) was formed in 1984 in response to the need for an agency to operate an emergency shelter for the homeless in Central Arizona. It is the largest shelter and service center for homeless people in Arizona, serving men, women and families with children.
CASS currently serves over 400 homeless individuals downtown and 34 families with children at Vista Colina, a family shelter in North Phoenix. CASS serves up to 1,000 individuals each night and provides clients with hygiene supplies, shower and laundry facilities, and emergency clothing.
