According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 18.3% of Utahns reported speaking little to no English. You can make a difference in your community by volunteering to teach English as a Second Language. The classes are offered at no cost to students. No teaching experience is required. Contact the Library to find out about an upcoming training session.

The primary goal of the Weber County Library System is to provide access to a rich amalgamation of relevant information resources, programs, and services,
enabling users to make meaningful decisions in their lives and participate as fullfledged members of our democratic society. The Library’s secondary goal is to
serve as the social glue that binds people together in a sense of community; that is, to manage resources and programs so users will find civic cohesion and social
solidarity in something other than a common race, a common religion, or a common culture.
