Voices Against Brain Cancer will host our Annual Join the Voices! New York 5k Run/Walk on Sunday, November 12th 2017 at Ichan Stadium on Randall's Island NY.
Registration for this charitable event will begin at 8AM and then at 9AM we will begin our 5k Run and 3K scenic walk in the park. There will be activities for kids, prizes and family fun for all. Funds raised will go towards the advancement of brain cancer research, as a testament of hope for the people in the world who are diagnosed with brain tumors. Local patients, doctors and caregivers will be honored for their valiant fights against brain cancer.
We need volunteers to help us make sure it’s a great day for our participants and honorees. ALL VOLUNTEERS WILL GET A FREE TECH MATERIAL T-SHIRT!
Volunteers will help with:
- General event operations
- Event day registration
- Food and beverage distribution (Simple coffee, bagels, bananas and water)
- Course Marshalling (giving participants directions)
- T-Shirt distribution
- Award Medal distribution
- help with kids activities
- help with "Fight Wall" signiture gathering.
