Looking for volunteers who speach Spanish, are certified in healing touch and/or have trained dogs to provide pet therapy to visit with our hospice patients.
You will receive free in-depth training about hospice and the role of the volunteer.

With our medical, emotional and spiritual expertise, patients and their families receive empathetic support. The primary goal of this hospice is to improve the "quality of life" when the quantity of life is limited.
Description
Hospice by the Sea is an agency designed to offer support to terminally ill patients and their families. It is a Medicare certified provider offering care in the familiar surroundings of a patient’s home, assisted living, long term care facility or wherever the patient calls home.
Our primary goal is to assist with symptom management, while maintaining dignity and comfort, physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually in the final stages of life and to serve as a support network for the family and loved ones.
Hospice provides comfort through symptom control and pain management under the supervision of the patient’s primary physician.
