McDowell Hospital is in need of Golf Cart Shuttle Drivers for the Main Hospital. If you are 21 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, and have a desire to serve, we could use you. We have openings for Monday (morning and afternoon), Tuesday (morning and afternoon), Wednesday (afternoon), and Friday (morning and afternoon).

Description
What we do for individuals:
Individuals interested in volunteering can call the volunteer center at 659-0826 or stop by the office between 12:30 - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, to fill out a simple volunteer form. After completing the form, volunteers may be matched on the spot to a position, or an application may be held until their skills can be matched to an organization. Once volunteers are matched to a position, they will be contacted by the center and given futher instructions on how they can help.
What we do for community groups and nonprofits:
The Volunteer center reaches out to local organizations and nonprofits to see what their volunteer needs are. Once needs are established, we post said needs on our website and social media. As well as make printed materials that are distributed throughout the community. Any volunteer responses that are received are then forwarded on to the agency in need.
