Assist staff to reduce fall risks through engaging patients in various activities. Visit, play games, read, craft and interact with patients in-between their therapy schedule. Play board games, cards, work on puzzles - any fun and enjoyable activity to keep patients involved and motivated. Minimal transport of wheelchair patients to and from their therapy and activity locations. Social Distancing guidelines and PPE precautions followed in hospital setting. Masks required at all times.
Especially need assistance on Wednesdays currently.

Activity rooms are on 2 floors with 2 volunteers per floor each shift. Days needed may vary.

12:30 PM to 05:00 PM
Activity rooms are on 2 floors with 2 volunteers per floor each shift. Days needed may vary.

Description
As state and federal agencies continue to release new guidelines and requirements for many healthcare settings due to COVID-19, we continue to monitor the situation closely. At this time we are following all CDC recommendations in regards to social distancing and masking in our facilities to keep our patients, staff and volunteers safe.
At Brooks Rehabilitation, we're dedicated to offering the most advanced therapies for all of our patients. Brooks is looking for volunteers for our 160-bed and 60-bed rehabilitation hospitals, network of outpatient therapy clinics, community programs and family housing.
