Thursday 13 th, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM - BUTTERFLY GARDEN CLEANUP-Grab your trowels and gardening gloves! By removing the exotic plants that crowd out native plants, we will be beautifying the garden around the Valentine House for insects, animals, and visitors alike. Program suitable for ages ten and up with parental supervision. You really can make a difference! By volunteering in the preserves, you will make a positive impact on the environment. Volunteers help preserve the homes of native plants and animals, re-establishing much-needed habitat. The work completed by volunteers will also help to secure the land for the enjoyment of future generations. All individuals are welcome to apply to become a volunteer - we have lots of different jobs available!
