During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
We are in need of your help. Center 360 has partnered with Progressive Baptist Church and the West Corridor community to provide career enrichment programs for youth in grades 5 through 8.
We often hear the talks of what needs to be done in our communities, and now we are asking you to join us in doing the heavy lifting.
Our needs:
- Volunteers to help with tutoring and homework help
- Volunteers to assist with mentoring 1-2 youth during the school year
- Volunteers to assist with Music, Arts, Athletics, and/or Technology programs
- Volunteers who are truly committed to making a difference!
You are needed in two different areas:
1. Remote Learning volunteers are needed Monday - Friday to join the students at Progressive Baptist Church (1600 Clanton Road, Charlotte, NC 28208) between 7a-3p. During this time, you will assist our students with 5th-8th grade schoolwork and homework, support them with signing in to their classes in a timely manner, and building a rapport with them along the way.
2. Career Development Programing volunteers are needed Monday - Friday between 3p-5p. You will have the opportunity to join us (or stay with us if you're already there) and engage with our youth in exploring personal development and life skills as we expose them to different careers.
Have fun with our scholars, be patient, and teach them something new everyday!
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

The mission of Center 360 is to empower, inspire and educate our youth. The goal is to rekindle the youth’s commitment to learning and to help them understand their purpose.
Center 360 is a place where youth can come to learn self-awareness, resilience, develop academic persistence, and be educated and trained on career opportunities that will lead to life-sustaining employment. Our programs and activities are created to target disengaged youth between the ages of 11-18 in the Charlotte Mecklenburg County area, who are not exposed to the various careers that exist within the music, arts, athletics and technology fields.
We'll work with your schedule.
