CTI is a St. Paul-based nonprofit that designs and distributes simple tools for small farmers and their communities in developing countries. Current programs are focused in Sub-Saharan Africa. We are looking for experienced mechanical engineers to assist with prototyping our postharvest processing tools, including a pearl millet thresher and multi-crop grinder.

This work requires knowledge and experience working in a metal/wood shop and the ability to work within a team (welding and lathe experience are a plus). Familiarity with human-centered design is a plus. SolidWorks experience also a plus.
