Position Title: Superhero Run Outreach Team Member

Organization Overview: Voices for CASA Children is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to support the nearly 13,000 abused and neglected children in the Maricopa foster care system through the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program. Our mission is to give every lost and voiceless child a brighter future.

Summary: The Outreach Team Members will work to successfully recruit participants for the 2017 Superhero Race. Our Annual Superhero Race is one of our signature fundraising events and helps our many programs directed at supporting children in care.

Essential Duties:

• Identify potential locations/venues for distributing race materials
• Assist in distributing marketing materials
• Answer questions regarding the benefits of participation and the work of Voices
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing

Requirements:

• Must present a professional and friendly demeanor
• Must be dependable
• Must be detail-oriented and well-organized
• Must be comfortable speaking in diverse settings
• Must be respectful and maintain privacy of Voices for CASA children volunteers, donors, and partners

Training and Supervision:

• Attends general Volunteer Orientation
• Attend a one hour training with the Marketing Director for job specific skills

Time Commitment: This position must be willing to commit todistributing race materials for at least two hours a month in addition to working independently to identify potential locations for distribution.This is anticipated to be a 3 hour a month time commitment.
