About

Nonviolence International is a decentralized network of resource centers that researches and promotes nonviolent action and seeks to reduce the use of violence worldwide. We believe that every culture and religion can employ appropriate nonviolence methods for positive social change and international peace.

Nonviolence International NY focuses on the United Nations, and on the community of New York City. We aim to share with the New York community the important things happening at the UN in our areas of work: Culture of Peace and Nonviolence, Disarmament, Palestine: Peace and Justice, UN Goals, UN-Civil Society Relations, Women's Issues.

We are looking for an intern to run our social media accounts and write original content for our organization. Interns will gain both the expeerience of social media marketing, and working at an NGO.
