Come spend a fun day at FINS - Friant Interactive Nature Site at the San Joaquin Hatchery and work on the new Small Fry Children's Trail and Parkway Trail. We will be pulling weeds, spreading mulch, pruning, planting and providing trail and play area maintenance.
We will meet at the hatchery each morning. Look for the volunteer event signs and remember to sign in at the covered picnic area. The workdays run 8-12 each day. Sign up for one day or sign up for all!
Be prepared to get a bit dirty. Gloves and tools will be provided. We recommend you wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, long sleeved shirt and bring a hat. Water, snacks and sunscreen will be provided.
