Operation Bootstrap seeks ESL Conversation Class Co-Teachers.
We are seeking passionate and committed volunteer teachers to co-lead a weekly standards-based English Conversation Class. Materials and assistance in planning the lessons are provided. Requirements for the position include: patience, desire to work with adult students from all over the world, and a willingness to learn and serve. Teaching experience in English or ESL is preferred, but not required.
Conversation Classes are scheduled to begin in late October, with training and lesson planning beginning in early October. Classes are 2 hours long, and will take place on Monday mornings and evenings; exact timing TBA.

Operation Bootstrap is an adult education center with 40 years of experience serving adults in the Lynn area. Our goal is to equip our adult students with the skills they need to be college and career ready. We offer classes in ESOL and preparation for the HiSET exam (formerly GED), as well as lessons in basic computer literacy. We are also in the process of planning integrated classes with both North Shore Community College and Lynn Vocational Tech.
