Freestore Foodbank's Healthy Harvest Mobile Market
We are a community collaboration among TriHealth, Impact 100 and the Freestore Foodbank. The Healthy Harvest Mobile Market launched in Spring 2016 to promote good nutrition and encourage healthy shopping. By bringing healthy produce into the local community, we provide customers a chance to make nutritious selections near their homes. While our selection changes based on the season, some of our produce has included: cabbage, kale, chard, chives, cilantro, romaine lettuce, spinach, turnips, apples, grapes and bananas.
Volunteers are needed to each week to run the market!
Volunteers will assist with the setup and breakdown of the tent for the market, stock shelves and arrange merchandise, and help customers as they shop the market.Locations will vary and volunteers are responsible for meeting at the market location.
