BROOKDALE HOSPICE OFFERS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS AND INTERNS GOING INTO PROFESSIONS IN HEALTHCARE, SOCIAL WORK AND MUSIC THERAPY.
OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE MARICOPA/PINAL COUNTY AREAS
Gain experience for a Career in Office Administration, Spiritual Counseling, Medical Social Work and Music Therapy within the Hospice Setting. We need caring, compassionate people who enjoy serving others.
We have volunteer opportunities throughout the Valley. Most of our volunteers are companions for our patients, as many do not have family. Sharing life stories is so important, and it's usually our volunteers who bring out the best.
Volunteering is rewarding and we are able to work with your schedule. Whether you have a few hours a month, or a few days, it ALL counts.
Hospice Volunteers are a treasured part of the Hospice Team, the families we serve and most importantly, our patients.

Description
Life is much more than physical health; it is also the dignity of the human spirit. When physical health begins to fail, the nurturing of the spirit becomes increasingly important. Hospice care is a service that aids the transition between living and dying by providing respect, care, comfort, and support to patients and families.
Brookdale Hospice volunteers provide important support to the care of our patients and families. We have communities throughout the valley. We also serve outside the Brookdale walls in private homes.
Brookdale Hospice serves primarily residents at Brookdale Senior Living communities and the surrounding neighborhoods. We are CHAP accredited and a member of the NHPCO.
