Event Management - Entertainment and Activities Lead Needed

The American Cancer Society is looking for a dedicated volunteer interested in gaining experience in event planning and fundraising. We are in the process of developing a new event in conjunction with the Indiana Lation Expo in the Indianapolis area. We are seeking passionate, organized and committed people who can help us get the event up and running. Roles that will be available can entail sponsorship, marketing/publicity, social media and event management. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or another language is a plus, but not required.

ENTERTAINMENT LEAD
LEAD ROLE:
The entertainment lead oversees all of the entertainment that takes place during the Relay For Life event, which may include choosing the type of entertainment and when it occurs.
Individuals in this role are creative, organized, and know what it takes to have a good time.
Additionally, individuals in this role are comfortable with and willing to cultivate relationships with various groups and organizations in the community that are willing to contribute to and participate in the excitement of the Relay For Life event.
