The Michael-Ryan Pattison Foundation is hosting our 12 th Annual A Cure is Coming Dinner & Auction supporting paralysis this year. We can’t do it without our community though. Come celebrate with us by helping us host our Dinner & Auction featuring a silent auction, live auction, dinner and fund a need!
Below are the details:
When: Saturday, October 1 st, 2016 from 5pm-9pm (volunteers needed 3:30pm-10pm)
Where: Meydenbauer Center, 11100 NE 6 th St, Bellevue, WA 98004
What: Please join us as we welcome back Auctioneer John Curley & Emcee Jim Dever for a fabulous evening filled with great auction items, delicious food, wine generously sponsored by Browne Family Vineyards, Canoe Ridge Vineyard and Waterbrook Winery and entertainment in support of The Michael-Ryan Pattison Foundation.
Volunteer Shifts: Volunteers are needed from 3:30pm-10pm, we ask that all volunteers be available for the whole event. You will be given dinner and breaks of course!
Volunteer Roles: You will receive training for your role on the day of the auction, and the only qualifications needed are your desire to have fun for a good cause. Outside of set-up and cleanup, roles during the event include:
- Registration
- Data Entry/Filing
- Data Entry/ Cashiering
- Silent Auction Closers
- Staging/Organizing Items
- Item Pickup
- Non-Auction Sales (Golden Ticket)
- Live Auction Recorders
- Live Auction Runners
Volunteers are critical to The Michael-Ryan Pattison Foundation’s mission to increase the level of awareness and support for those living with paralysis while enabling access to a range of specialized therapies focused on improving overall quality of life.

To increase the level of awareness and support for those living with paralysis while enabling access to a range of specialized therapies focused on improving overall quality of life.
Description
Following Michael-Ryan's paralyzing injury in 2005, The Michael-Ryan Pattison Foundation was organized to establish a world renowned, state-of-the-art, specialized restorative therapy center in the Seattle area where those with spinal cord injuries have access to the best therapies - specialized equipment, exercise techniques and palliative treatment - designed and administered by leading spinal cord injury specialists and physicians. As well as:
- Inspiring hope & providing opportunities for those living with paralysis to achieve a better quality of life.
- Raise awareness of the therapeutic needs of individuals with spinal cord injuries.
- Aid in the ongoing administration and operation of the therapy center.
- Establish Foundation funding for other charitable, scientiļ¬c, and educational purposes related to spinal cord injury, within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
