Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization is looking for volunteers with to assist with program support, mailings and various clerical support. This opportunity is open to anyone interested in supporting our organization to further our mission of supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities here in Delaware County. Self-advocates are encouraged to apply.
Volunteers must attend a brief one-on-one interview (virtual or in-person) with the Volunteer Coordinator and complete a Criminal Background check.

It is the mission of the Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization to advocate for inclusive public policy and provide social and recreational opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to assist them in achieving their full potential as individuals, as employees and as members of their communities.
Description
The Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization has been the premier advocacy organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Delaware County for over 60 years. In addition to our direct advocacy programs including our Education Advocacy and Adult Advocacy programs, we are active in legislative advocacy on behalf of the individuals and communities we serve. Our organization also provides social and recreational activities to the individuals we serve.
