Objective: Help to ensure that our special events run smoothly and are successful.

Location: Various

Important to note: Key responsibilities will vary by event and area assigned to volunteer. Assistance with overall event set up and breakdown is expected of all Special Events Volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall event set up and breakdown.

Assist vendors with area set up.

Greet guests as they arrive to event.

Assist guests in registering or purchasing a ticket for event.

Monitor silent auction.

Communicate any issues to the Community Outreach Manager.

Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Physical requirements:

Comfortable speaking to event guests.

Able to stand for long periods of time unassisted.

Maintain a positive energy when volunteering.

Able and willing to work as a team player.

Must be 18 years or older to volunteer at Toast to the Animals (Fall fundraiser).

Time Commitment:

Adoption Events 2-4 hours per event

Community Outreach 1-3 hours per week
