Everyone loves a parade! And this parade is one of the best, winning the prestigious event industry AzTEC Awards for 2015 Outstanding Event of the Year! Join the fun and show your community spirit by partnering with the Cities of Avondale and Goodyear, as they kick off the 5th annual Tale of Two Cities Parade & Festival.

The Parade and Festival is an International Celebration highlighting cultures from around the world. This is a family-friendly, community event. Activities will include live entertainment, cultural demonstrations, kids activities, crafts, food, shopping and a Naturalization Ceremony! Showcase your partnership with the community and promote your business by sponsoring this much anticipated yearly event.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for one of our events. Events are a fun way to get involved in your community and meet new people. While we hope that you enjoy your experience at one of our events please be prepared to work. Some activities involve heavy lifting or quite a bit of walking. If you have any challenges that would prevent you from doing these types of activities please make note of them in the comments field so that we can assign you to an appropriate role. We will do our best to assign you with others in your group however we can not guarantee who you will work with. Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older, any volunteers between the ages of 13-16 must have an adult supervisor with them.

This cultural parade is a joint effort between the cities of Avondale & Goodyear. It runs between Goodyear Community Park on Litchfield Rd. and finishes across from Estrella Mountain Community College at Dysart & Thomas Rd.

Event help 9:30am-12:30pm

Event help 12pm-5pm
