Save the Water(tm) is seeking a Fundraising Associate Director, Private Donations to assist the Fundraising Director and to help oversee department of an average 5-15 volunteers and interns. Do you know what harmful contaminants are in your water? How they get there? What effect they have on your family and the environment? Save the Water (STW) is looking for those answers.
STW is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water; and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science and STEM careers.
Our volunteers are diverse professionals from all over the world bringing their knowledge and experience to STW, because we care deeply about our communities and water resources. We collaborate and learn in an open and empowering work environment to find long term solutions to water contamination problem. Our vision is "Contamination free, healthy water for all".

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Fundraising in growing nonprofit organization, management, and strategy.
Help Director oversee the Private Donations division of an average of 5-15 volunteers.
Monitor and adapt fundraising strategy for the Private Donations division.
Research and develop a comprehensive fundraising database
Ensure completion of administrative aspects of fundraising.
Provide input into board meetings and the organisational strategic plan.
Attend monthly Operations Meetings.
Attend biweekly Fundraising Group meeting to provide report of your team’s progress.
Attend Private Donations division team meetings (2 each per month).
Assist the Director in planning and conducting monthly Fundraising Group meetings, including sending agenda, taking meeting minutes, and follow up.
Manage and keep operational documents current.
Assist in developing procedures & documents for the organization.
Complete the Timesheet audit for the Private Donations division Project Leaders each month.
This position reports to the Director of Fundraising.
Experience in Private Donations and other aspects of fundraising.
Associate degree (or currently enrolled in degree program) or comparable work experience.
Excellent organizational, managerial, and communication skills.
Excellent planning and time management abilities.
Outstanding organizational ability, with focused attention to detail and follow through.
Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
Capacity for self-direction, with tact and diplomacy, and for working cooperatively.
Effective oral communication skills and a clear, courteous and professional manner.
Demonstrated project management skills an asset.
Associate Directors are expected to put in a minimum of 10 hours per week and be responsive to emails within three (3) calendar days.
