Any adult can be a troop leader as long as she or he wants to make a difference in girls’ lives. You do not have to be a parent - all are welcome!
Being a troop leader is incredibly rewarding. You will spend quality time with inspiring girls - which could include your own daughter. You will help girls grow into confident leaders, as you both gain new skills and experiences. There are girls on waiting lists who need a troop leader. Help ensure that every girl who wants to be a Girl Scout can be!
Troop leaders work with a volunteer team to lead activities, organize camping and field trips, teach skills, help girls earn badges, support girls in running a business (Girl Scout Fall Product/Cookie Business), and serve as positive role models.
Troop Leaders and Co-Leaders can pick their location and time of troop meetings.
