We are in search of men and women ages 18 years old and older to serve as mentors for the youth in the Girl Talk Mentoring Program and 3MB-Men Mentoring Men and Boys program. These programs meet for different facets on up to 5 days per week. Mentors are needed to participate in any of the ongoing weekly⁸ programs as well as to serve as one-on-one mentors. Mentors are needed to visit youth at their schools and in their homes at times. Mentors would also help facilitate and supervise fieldtrips.
We ask mentors to also participate when available at our weekly programming. 3MB meets on Friday evenings for 3MB Kickback, from 5:00pm-8pm. At Kickback, the men and boys have an hour of free time for recreational activities, then they have an hour for group discussion, and the last hour for their meal and more recreation. On the 2nd and 4th Saturday mornings, 3MB meets for 3MB Basketball Clinic and Discussion Group from 10am until 1pm at the At the former Broadway United Methodist Church. 3MB serves men and boys of all ages.
Girl Talk meets on Friday evenings from 5pm-7pm at the 3MB HomeQuarters in East Cleveland, Ohio. Girl Talk is for girls ages 11-17 years old. New this year, we have the Little Girls Talk, Too Program which mentors little girls ages 4-10 years old. Every week, at Girl Talk, the girls polish their nails, make crafts, line dance, do some type of physical fitness, have snack, and have group discussion about issues relative to their age groups.

" Men Mentoring Men and Boys"
Men Mentoring Men and Boys affectionately know as "3MB" is an organization which provides male youth and men with a sense of brotherhood in the efforts to prevent them from spiraling to negative activities such as gang involvement, alcohol, drugs, premarital sex, and various peer pressures by exposing them to a higher power and with weekly discussion groups, bible study, community service, and recreational activities.. Mentors and members desire to make a difference in each member’s life by assisting each other in managing problems and reinforcing positive values, giving them the opportunity to adopt those positive values and apply them to their lives so that they can become productive males in the community.
The Girl Talk Mentoring Program is the female counterpart to 3MB for girls ages 11-17 years old. We have recently added the Little Girls Talk, Too Program for girls ages 4-10 years old. It is our intent to Inspire Girls and Women to Become "Ladies".
