King County’s 345-acre Three Forks Natural Area is situated at the confluence of the south fork, north fork and middle fork of the Snoqualmie River. With an astounding up-close view of Mount Si, it is dominated by riverine, riparian, and wetland habitat and is an important wildlife corridor for elk, deer, bear, eagles, osprey, hawks, trout and many more species. Volunteers will spend the day along the Snoqualmie River planting native trees and shrubs to improve critical habitat for fish and wildlife.
