Looking for groups or individuals to go into facilities to entertain residents with Karaoke. Interact with residents and bring a smile to the face and music to their heart. The group or individual would be put on the facility's activity calendar to perform 1 to 2 times a month.
Minimum required age to volunteer at Optimal Hospice is 18 years old.

Description
Bristol Hospice provides hospice services to meet the physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs of individuals at the end of life. We focus on an individualized plan of care which may include, as appropriate, the following services: nursing, physicians, hospice aides, spiritual support, therapy, dietary, counseling, volunteers, durable medical equipment, supplies, bereavement services and medications related to the terminal illness.
Volunteers are an important part of the hospice model. Volunteers provide special compassionate presence and support to our patients and family in ways that only a volunteer can. When a volunteer visits a patient, they are visiting the patient because they want to be there. It's not a job or an obligation. That is a powerful action for our patients and families!
